Selling tickets to the Temple game. Only reason I can think is did Temple return some of their allotment. I can't ever remember seeing this before.

Coming off a 4-8 season . . . opening against Temple . . .a couple of good reasons they might have tickets left.

There are tons of Temple tickets still available. ND has placed ads in the Chicago Tribune trying to sell them.

There are premium seats still available for the Temple game. I'm talking premium SUITE tickets, not just bleacher seats.

They've been calling and asking me to reconsider my decision to not renew season tickets. I'm sure they are making plenty of those calls.

Perhaps ND admin got a little too cute with the stadium expansion? I was there in August... the outside doesn't resemble a football stadium.

The Temple game would be the perfect opportunity for a first timer to attend a game. Warm weather game. I would advise to avoid the south end if possible because the Jumbo would then be behind you.

Uh....yeah, that's the look they were going for. These are academic buildings after all.

From the outside - who cares what it looks like? Inside, it's definitely a football stadium. A 21st century football stadium.

IMHO I think that stadium, inside and out, looks beautiful. In fact, the campus has grown but still has a quaint beauty to it. The area between the main gate and the library is one of my favorite places to sit and relax.

Looks like a lot of fans are voicing their displeasure with ND football. No better way to say " I'm sick of the product" by not paying for tickets.

Winning will cure that. Hopefully it will be a Yogi saying. Nobody goes there anymore, It's too crowded.

I thought the Jumbo was supposed to be the magic formula that filled the stadium, signed recruits, created a lively stadium atmosphere, and won games. At least that's what we constantly argued about around here for I don't know how long.

the magic of the Adzillatron will be to drive down the enjoyment of recreational fans and further emtpty the stadium. The Admin will say We can't compete with smartphones anymore so we must join the ACC in full.

The problem is they are pricing themselves out of the market. Yes there are lots of ND fans with money...yes they will spend it for certain games, certain times of year or when they are winning. But to pay the price...and I am not just talking about the ticket but everything else that goes along with it keeps going up and up.

There is a general malaise right now out there and only winning will cure that.

Maybe people are just fed up with the ticket prices. Just got my tickets to the UGA games, tickets that were $175 per last year are now face value $300. all I can say is wow.... they better win the damn game!!!

They will. The players are understanding of the duress us fans are facing and they won't let us down.

Let's be honest. The favorite color of Notre Dame is green. I know a few folks whose season tickets have been passed down through generations and they are getting to the point where ND is pricing them out. I thought greed was a sin.

Agree with this. Who raises ticket prices from $175 to $300 after a freaking 4 - 8 season??? That is down right shameful.
