Yep, we barely squeaked by against undermanned teams. That's a consistent kelly coaching trait.
I agree. It is bizaar for someone to complain so often about something they have no power over. To a group of people that have no ability to change it.

Kelly is in the OP's dome 24/7 and he doesn't give a damn about what he thinks. He is just cashing those big fat paychecks.

remember that the core of the staff was only in the 3-4 game vs UVA. Offensively that game may have been a blessing in disguise; (the exception being MZ going down). In crisis mode the players sucked it up and refused to lose. The staff learned that they could loosen the reigns on the offense and go full throttle!
Of course the staff also learned that 'full throttle' was going to be necessary since the defense was unreliable and inconsistant.

The Virginia game was a Houdini like escape for us. Kizer's game saving pass was terrific. The fact that it was needed against a 4-8 team is discouraging, but par for Mr.
Potato Head.
