and listened to Tom Lemming's comments on a Chicago radio station about Big 10 and Notre Dame recruiting . Lemming said that B. Kelly was a great offensive coach but basically said ND does not have the impact players on defense in the 2016 recruiting that Alabama has . And this is a big reason ND is a very good team but still can not be a top 5 team .

I'm reading that Kelly is going hard in particular for top defensive linemen in 2017 .And already R. Beal has committed .Hope he has a great defensive haul next year.

Bama is really good, no doubt about it. Having said that, there are other schools that can beat Alabama.........

Lemming has historically been pro ND and for him to spell it out so bluntly says it all! For whatever reason, ND has been unable to recruit those players for a long time!
