Notre Dame men's basketball will take the court tonight for its first game in a week. The Irish will attempt to get their first-ever win at Virginia in JPJ Arena.

The Irish are 4-18 all-time against Virginia and 0-9 in Charlottesville. This Notre Dame team (8-10, 2-5 ACC) has yet to win a road ACC game this season.

Virginia (9-10, 2-6) hasn't exactly looked like vintage Virginia this season. But even without former head coach Tony Bennett, the Cavaliers still rank No. 19 in Division I in scoring defense for allowing 63.9 points per game. Yet Virginia's scoring offense is still below that mark at 62.0 points per game, which ranks 351 out of 355 teams.

Notre Dame is allowing 71.2 points per game while scoring 74.9.

Expected starters for Notre Dame: guards Markus Burton, Braeden Shrewsberry and Matt Allocco and forwards Tae Davis and Kebba Njie.
