Our women's team looks completely different playing without Hannah Hidalgo.

This is the 2nd game she has missed due to injury, and the offense just seems to sputter along and the defense doesn't seem as organized.

Hope she gets back soon.

We won 81 - 66.

Westbeld and Citron had probably their best shooting games of this year. Prosper was unexpectedly good from 3 point range and contributed 15. Miles had an off night shooting until the 4th quarter. Team just don't play the same w/o Hidalgo though.

Agree totally. These three had great games. Miles had an off night for her in every category. Missing Hidalgo combined with an off night from Miles is a recipe for a sluggish offense and possible defeat. But these three stepped up and we walked out with a solid victory over a good team. It was great to see Maddy playing like her old self. It was fun to see Citron assert herself as she is capable of being the number one scoring option on a lot of teams. And I love seeing Prosper finally grow into her considerable potential. This team is special, but Hidalgo is it’s identity and engine. Glad we can afford to rest her and win until her ankle is completely healed.

I agree with all the comments above. This stretch of games is very encouraging. We're not the same without Hidalgo, but it's great to know that others rise to the occasion when she's out. Who knows if she might have a minor injury or get in foul trouble in critical game later on.
