Girls played really hard, very proud of the effort in the 2nd half. Not a basketball x's & o's guy but I don't understand how UConn can constantly get looks from 3 and we struggle to get open looks. One thing that has to change for us is when bringing in a Huffman, Cable, Westbeld etc, they have to be given the green light and have the confidence to take shots. Huffman could of taken a few open jumpers and she's obviously athletic enough to be playing D1 ball. I saw Westbeld get yelled at when she drove the ball and had a wide open shot but was hesitant to take it. We pass the ball a ton only to run our offense through 3 people on the court vs utilizing all 5 ala UConn. I think this was a great learning experience for our younger players. Now we need to get Cox and McCoy, if we land them it's a game changer with Boley and Young coming in for 2016.
