Not one post on this dude transferring. Any thoughts as to why? I didnt know much about him. Maybe someone does?

From what I've read, he sees himself as a safety, and coaches saw him as a Rover, and he couldn't accept the idea of essentially being a linebacker. His size and skill seemed perfectly suited for the Rover position, but he would have been buried in the depth chart.

Playing time. He was stuck sixth on the depth chart and he wanted more. It's been Coach Kelly's stated goal that each year they bring in better players than the year before. To ND's credit they aren't restricting his school options.

I will guess that he is a guy who really wanted to see the field at safety and was not confident that would happen at ND. He was moved to Rover and was behind Tranquil and Bilal with many assuming JOK would pass him when he arrived.

Too bad because he had good length at 6'3 although I have seen him listed at 6'2 as well.
