But your point is wrong and you know it.You’re wrong.
That’s easy.
Wouldn’t you agree that a school like ND has a higher % of non alum fans compared to a school like, let’s say Indiana? But your point is wrong and you know it.
Every major school has fans in the millions and there is always more fans that didn't go to the school than did.
It's a ridiculous opinion
Didn’t you hear?Wouldn’t you agree that a school like ND has a higher % of non alum fans compared to a school like, let’s say Indiana?
ND probably is a top 10 apparel brand school in terms of units sold and maybe not in the top 100 in terms of alumni. 8,000 upgrads a year is pretty tiny.
Interesting responses. I am curious what TelX n Pennick n ND78 have to sayDidn’t you hear?
Indiana Football has “millions of fans…” most of which never attended Indiana.
Just a Monday afternoon troll? Sorry stroll 😂🤥💪🖕I watched Notre Dame lose this season at home to MAC crappy Northern Illinois. I watched Ohio State lose at home to heavy underdog Michigan, whose QB would not start at many high schools.
Nothing surprises me in this CFB business.
Oh ND absolutely number 1 in non alum fans for sureWouldn’t you agree that a school like ND has a higher % of non alum fans compared to a school like, let’s say Indiana?

You are underestimating the opponentI do not in any way see Indiana as a better team. Not close. We should not lose this game
We know what to expect. An offense that can hurt you if we don’t get a pass rush and also contain the run
We know we need to offset their solid defense that stops the run with play action n creative plays in space
Do these two things with our better talent and we win. Probably handily.
If we don’t, our coaches have failed.
And that would not go over well It’s tough to be favored but it’s time to earn that $
Thoughts ?
Who doesn't ? I'm not talking New Mexico St. here. State schools especially have way more fans than alums . Not even close.Wholeheartedly disagree.
I'm certain Indiana Football is busting with "....millions of fans" as Golson stated, most of which are not alums.Who doesn't ? I'm not talking New Mexico St. here. State schools especially have way more fans than alums . Not even close.
I think he gets to take a drink every time he brings it up.ND lost to NIU? Really? Thanks for letting us know.
Southern Indiana here...reversible coat fans are those who root for the Irish in football during the fall and then root for IU in basketball during the winter. IU is a blueblood in basketball and they have a ton of non-alum fans.Interesting responses. I am curious what TelX n Pennick n ND78 have to say
Btw, I wish you all a great holiday and I know you all said no presents this year, but I would wrap a W over Indiana for y’all if I could
They have more fans than alums for certain. You made what most if not everyone would agree was an erroneous statement. Own it and move on.I'm certain Indiana Football is busting with "....millions of fans" as Golson stated, most of which are not alums.
I was referring to Indiana Football fans. Not basketball. I realize fully Indiana is first and foremost a basketball school.Southern Indiana here...reversible coat fans are those who root for the Irish in football during the fall and then root for IU in basketball during the winter. Those non-alum BB fans have been waiting for years for the Hoosiers to field a winning football team. They hopped on the bandwagon early in the season.I was referring to Indiana Football fans. Not basketball. I realize fully Indiana is first and foremost a basketball school.
Time to knock them off and back to reality. Go Irish! Those non-alum BB fans have been waiting for years for the Hoosiers to field a winning football team. They hopped on the bandwagon early in the season.
A podcast made mention of this occurring on Twitter. I personally don’t care where anyone went to school with regards to fandom. It’s a loser retort. Most sports fans like professional teams even though they didn’t play for them…These stories are why I hate the “well did you even go to ND” jabs to fans wearing ND gear. Who cares if you went there as long as you loyally support.
I was the only person in my extended family of probably 40+ ND fans to go to school there which in my opinion, should have no bearing on fandom.
For ND in particular you also have to factor in the Catholic aspect. I think it can be argued that people identify more with their faith than their college choice. Therefor, rooting for a Catholic school like ND even if you didn’t go to school there makes a ton of sense.A podcast made mention of this occurring on Twitter. I kind of take the opposite view even…if I were to respond to that garbage. “Oh you went to school there? So you could have easily gone to college somewhere else and then you’d like that team and your current team would mean nothing to you?”
I can’t imagine rooting for another FBS school over ND no matter where I went to school.
PatYou are underestimating the opponent
Which is an easy way to lose a game when you’re favored
