How will they call it a big time win at home this weekend if TCU's top receiver and QB are out? These guys make the whole offense go and without them TCU is not a top 20 team, We'll see how they spin this Oklahoma win if these guys are out or playing at 50%.

Does Clemson's win look less impressive because they beat an ND team without their starting RB and QB?

I don't think the committee will take this into account too much even though its true that this weakens their schedule.

No, because the committee had 2+ games prior to see how ND's offense performed with the replacements and they've had 5 games to review since. There's been enough evidence to show that ND's offense is still performing at a high level with the replacements and the committee chair, Jeff Long, has gone on record to say that ND's depth is one of the reasons they are so highly regarded. If TCU struggles offensively against OU the natural conclusion will be that the injuries to their starters made them a less formidable opponent and there won't be enough time left in the season to demonstrate otherwise.

When it comes to key injuries to a team there isn't a blanket rule for how those teams are evaluated. There is a "wait and see" approach and rightly so. If TCU struggles offensively against OU I think it's reasonable to conclude the committee will not think OU's win is as impressive as it would have been had those starters played. How much value will be placed on an OU win over TCU? That's debatable.

Weird thread. What difference does it make what the TCU injury issue is if OU wins? Still has to beat OSU. Even assuming that if NDame beats Stanford not much to argue about given the Texas results. If NDame loses it is out, if not probably no way OSU, if undefeated leaps them. You guys are in the driver's seat.
