Ryan Grant

Lmfao. Of course you do. You are inclusive…unless it doesn’t agree with your political stance. So lefty of you.

You trying to defend this prisoner trade is both hilarious and pathetic. Russia played Joe like a fiddle.

But it’s ok.. you were condescending, made sure to refer back to Trump, and offered no valid argument about the value of the trade. Page 2 of the lib handbook. So you get to keep your lib card!
My goodness you’re a sensitive fella.

I'm not the one accusing Grant, those who are bear the burden of proof.

I'm sorry, are you asking for proof that Grant bailed this scum bag out? I mean, the article says he did. I didn't know anybody needed to bear burden of proof on that.

you are likely an ignostic or atheist but here is one to ponder: 4 most feared words in the english language:
‘God gave them over….’
Really don't understand your reference. You are saying I am "ignostic" or "atheist" (I'm a Christian) because I said the idiots in the New York state government (Albany) were put in office by the idiots in NYC?

I don't get the connection to faith at all in this.

So yes, police make mistakes... but this is a tough one to believe a mistake had happened. It's not like they tried to piece together circumstantial evidence. The police themselves were eye witnesses as they were shot at by this scumbag while doing a drug bust.
Oh we have good word of the cops who stormed the house? Tell me how the cops know what kind of invader he thought he was shooting at?

You need to prove that this man is too dangerous to be on bail or a flight risk to condemn Ryan Grant for loaning him the money. You can start from the point that the high court determined he was bailable and wonder if Grant might know the man he is lending a lot of his own money.

Yeah hes a scumbag

Says the guy who initially reacted to bizzbecknd’s post ….lol, you are not good at this. Does Bernie have room for you to be indoctrinated again?
A 5 year old can read our post and see you get all worked up Karen like. Yet mediating or something.

Ryan Grant didn’t lend him the money, he posted bail for him.
The defendant is incapable of raising and/or repaying $ 500,000.
Evidently you don’t know how bail works

Bail was intentionally set at $ 5,000,000 because he is too dangerous and/or a flight risk. The Court never thought that the defendant, given his limited resources, could make bail.

Guess what??? The dude was a 7x convict... He can not possess a gun legally. So no matter who he thought he was shooting at, he was in the wrong.

You make excuses for a 7x convict who is illegally in possession of a gun that shoots somebody. But, I bet you are the first to protest when a police officer, who puts his life on the line every single day, has to use lethal force to save themselves or other innocent people.

Who are put there by idiots in NYC.
I would have thought after 26 innocent folks ( mostly people of color) pushed in front of incoming subway trains that change would have happened. Unfortunately lotta native NYers are in SC, NC , Tenn and of course the 6th boro Florida.

ugh. Bail is set because he is a flight risk and they want him to suffer even if gets acquitted. You don't set a high bail for a dangerous arrestee, that is no bail at all.

Wrong, bail is also set very high if he poses a risk to the community.

in this case, given the defendant’s limited resources, $ 5,000,000 was thought to be beyond his limit to post, ergo the equivalent of no bail.

You have to be a total moron to posit that this guy is innocent of all charges.

To start with, the possession of a firearm by a convicted felon is a major crime.

But since you’re advocating for him, why don’t you invite him to stay at your house until his trial ends. I’ll pay for his transportation from NYC to wherever you live.

What do you say, do we have a deal ?

Make sure you don't fight back against any home invader who shouts police from downstairs. And since you seem fixated on changing the font

Uniforms and badges can be found at any costume store

Stop. It was a common no knock warrant. The officer shot used a police shield that ESU & Narco teams use to deflect bullets. The perp is a felon. He’s not supposed to have a firearm! He’s lucky he didn’t end up dead ( which I wish he did) or didn’t kill that officer.

Back on thread point. I’m curious what’s Ryan Grants connection to this bed bug?

How do you explain and justify a convicted felon being in possession of a firearm ?
That’s a felony !

Go ahead, try and justify that criminal act !

How do you explain and justify a convicted felon firing an illegal firearm at anyone ?

He fired at the police prior to anyone firing at him !
How do you justify that criminal act ? Another felony !

How about the marked patrol cars at the scene ?
Can you find and rent them at any costume store ?

You offer that in support of the police!?

Much the same way you explain why they chose not to arrest him at Starbucks.

Because they thought that there was a high likelihood that he was carrying a firearm and that innocent people would get shot when they tried to arrest him.

You’re deaf, dumb and blind to criminal behavior and reality !

So they chose the safe way of storming the house. you people really crack me up.

Correct, the raid was conducted at 6:00am in the morning, minimizing the potential for collateral damage to innocent citizens.

Your blind and uniformed defense of this repeat felon just proves that you’re a total moron

He's in home confinement - he's not "on the streets. " Also, the judge set no bail, but an appellate court set the bail.
How do you know where he is at any given moment ?

I guess no one on house confinement violates that order, right ?

How do you justify his possession of an illegal firearm ?

How do you turn a blind eye to his 7 previous convictions and 6 year prison term.

WHY isn’t he staying at your house ?

Who did the pushing?

So a serial criminal, a 7 time offender, a felon who tried to kill a cop with an illegal firearm should enjoy the comfort of his home while he awaits trial ?

That’s your position !

no, my position is that he should be in jail.

but also my position is that people should stick to facts, and not resort to histrionics to support their position.

you illustrated my point perfectly - I simply stated facts, with no opinion, and you went with the righteous outrage.

No, I went with the facts, his prior criminal record, the time and place of the raid, etc, etc.

New York’s current bail policy is patently insane !

How can the morons in Albany think that releasing hardened criminals is going to result in less crime ?

I blame the moronic citizens who elect representatives that favor no bail for hardened criminals.

Where are Giuliani and Bloomberg ?
We need them as Governors !
