So this boils down to one consideration for you, and only one….race. That’s a hell of a litmus test.
The issue isn’t whether this guy is entitled to due process…of course he is. And of course he is technically innocent until proven guilty. That has nothing to do with whether this guy should be out on bail, and it has nothing to do with folks here being upset that Grant helped enable this. My reading of the bail guidelines for New York suggests this judge essentially ignored his criminal record and ignored these guideline, and exercised terrible judgment in granting bail in this case. Personally, I will be very disappointed if Grant put up the money for this guys bail for any of the race based reasons you applaud. Hope to read about Grants reasons for this in the coming days; perhaps a distant relative or childhood friend.

So yes, police make mistakes... but this is a tough one to believe a mistake had happened. It's not like they tried to piece together circumstantial evidence. The police themselves were eye witnesses as they were shot at by this scumbag while doing a drug bust.
On raids in NYC, identification in one of several forms is required by the officers participating in the raid for a number of reasons, one of which is to avoid being shot by friendly fire.
