Unless you have some way of stacking up all 130+ fbs teams, and quantifying their performance scientifically --then you'd be silly to ignore the results of a system (F+) that does just that.
There's a ton of good information in this data, and despite trying to nudge and evolve the conversation to it, we got a vocal minority constantly doubling down on their ignorance and trashing F+ without knowing dickie mcgeezaks about it.
I'm not doubling down. From what I see on the field, coupled with the obvious weaknesses we have in the current roster, my opinion is we are not a top 20 team, and I personally think the majority would agree. You have an opposite opinion, that's fine

Evidence: LSU had maybe the greatest season of all time, maybe the greatest team of all time in 2019, won the NC, undefeated, and did not finish the season in F+ number 1. I believe a team they destroyed finished above them. Thats more than enough evidence in itself. But there has been so much more

Buddy, we're switching to a playoff, a kick-ass 12-team playoff, thankfully, finally.... and there will be no need any longer for these stupid, arbitrary power rating systems. There was never any need for them, and they were always terrible. But that's only because CFB was saddled with the awful bowls-and-the-polls regime, which is mercifully very nearly over. And quite frankly I'd rather just go with dumbshit sportswriters than some arbitrary power rating system. At least sportswriters are just dopes in suits. These computer geeks actually try lay to claim to some sort of larger truth, which is the most insulting and inappropriate part of the whole deal When the real truth there is no better team. It's a false notion. There's only winners and losers. And that's the singular definitive criteria, and no formula required....
So what is the purpose of a stupid power rating formula, other than maybe for the at-large bids for the playoff? But ranking for the sake of ranking.... that's gone with the wind!
Margin of victory is only a tell based on the schedule you play, which players you played, and for how long, and how each team you played shakes out over the course of a season. Meaning a 17 point victory may turn out to be good, or not so good. In short, it's a BS measuring stick. And that applies to every team, including UGA (who, for my money, I think can repeat)
Take a look at the actual game there Lombardi. Kent State makes the 2 point play it's a one score game in the 4th. The point is ALL of you need to stop looking at logos. One of the UGA players was quoted as "they came to play"
