Going back to the Rees days it used to annoy the crap out of me we never called screen plays. Fast forward to present day, Denbrock loves him some screens. However, no matter what flavor (RB screen, TE screen, tunnel screen) we can't seem to get more yards than it should. It can't be scheme so is it downfield blocking?

Also, for the love of football whether it's Coogan or Pendleton can you give Leonard a better SG snap? Watch other teams and that snap is coming hot and right at the QBs chest.

Rant out...

Coogan spikes it extremely slow

Doesn't it seem to throw Riley off especially on pass plays? He catches it and the DE already seem to be up the field on rushing him.
Yeah, I've thought that for awhile but you're the first other person to bring it up

The main reason was Ian Book was not an effective screen thrower. Just wasn't something he was good at. Outstanding college QB for sure but that was a weakness in his game.
