I guess we'll see, but I'm hopefull our Irish offense will be first rate next year! Gino was the favorite of the Cincy players when Fickell left for Wiscy. A young, motivated offensive room next year (and upgrade recruiting wise?)

It is truly Marcus' team now.

I am liking the fact the fact Gino called plays at Cindy and he developed Rider a virtual unknown to a third round draft pick. Gino is more qualified to be OC than Rees or Parker. Maybe, this will be a two headed tag team event. I would take Gino over Rees

It sounds like it could be a tag team with Parker and Gino. Hopefully that'll work well.

I normally don't post off-season, but this incident motivated an exception. I've no idea if Parker and Gino are the right picks here. I totally understand TR leaving for what are obviously greener pastures...mind you, I don't think he is a great OC, but maybe he progresses at AL?

This incident however underscores that ND is no longer a top program. Won't pay top coaches. Won't make program and academic accommodations. Won't throttle hard on NIL and transfers.

It's remarkable that ND stayed competitive through the CBK years. But I sense Freeman will face too many headwinds as college football goes semipro. I will still be a fan, but I accept 1988 will be only time in my life I get to see win a NC.

Unless college football or ND change regarding football, there will be no glory. I hope I am wrong. But man, it says something to lose TR to AL.
