You're joking, right?
An estimated 5.7 million of them voted in 2008.
You're joking, right?
Nothing in this article identifies an L in NPR.
A little sensitive today, eh Tommy. For one thing, teasing a guy about a spelling gaffe would only be called an "attack" by somebody who's a total wimp. You've never met me and I've never posted anything about immigration, illegal or otherwise, but that doesn't stop you from ranting obtusely and drawing conclusions out of thin air. However, since you linked that sensationalist article (how odd that it would come from such an impeccably objective source like Fox), you should know that extensive studies from universities and groups like the Pew Research Center have revealed that immigrants commit far fewer violent crimes than the native born population.
Coming from the person who doesn't know what a paragraph is and "likes" a previous post littered with grammatical errors.Rather clumsy to create an acronym that doesn't include all the letters you ascribe to it. However, F(omenting) O(dious) X(enophobia) works just fine.

You must feel like a chump going after a veteran on this board.
Why are you deflecting from my point that you think writing "Liberal" in NPR failed to form an accurate acronym?"The only ones who seem not to know that the left has a massive, taxpayer-funded radio network of 700 affiliates are the liberals trying to sell investors on their own private-sector talk-radio network"
"NPR's own official ombudsman, Jeffrey Dvorkin, admitted a liberal bias in NPR's talk programming."
It's hilarious that you attempted to talk grammar smack when your post above began with an incomplete sentence.Coming from the person who doesn't know what a paragraph is and "likes" a previous post littered with grammatical errors.

No deflectionWhy are you deflecting from my point that you think writing "Liberal" in NPR failed to form an accurate acronym?
Another deflection.No deflection
You don't see the L because you don't want to see the L
Why are you deflecting from my point that you think writing "Liberal" in NPR failed to form an accurate acronym?
No clearing up is necessary. The only F to be awarded is a grade to you for not understanding how to create an acronym.USA stands for Freedom correct?
You notice there's no F in USA yet it still stands for freedom
I hope this clears this up for you
An estimated 5.7 million [illegals] voted in 2008.
Uh okNo clearing up is necessary. The only F to be awarded is a grade to you for not understanding how to create an acronym.
There are approximately between 12 to 35 million undocumented people in this country are you telling me you do not believe a quarter them cast the vote? If not what percentage do you believe it isWhere do you think that 5.7 million number comes from? Would you believe that it is based on the responses of five people? Not 5,000, or 500, or even 50 . . . but five. The authors of the study took those five responses and extrapolated it into an estimate of 5.7 million illegals having voted.
We would have to invent a new name for that level of junk science.

If you are honestly contending that "Liberal" should be ramrodded into NPR as an anagram, at least change your handle to Deadirishdoggerelist.Uh ok
Got itIf you are honestly contending that "Liberal" should be ramrodded into NPR as an anagram, at least change your handle to Deadirishdoggerelist.
Here's a nice and accurate creation of an anagram to help you out:

Yes, they should do it. Perhaps appoint an independent counsel to conduct an investigation. The Democrats could challenge the forthrightness of the counsel by alluding to his having given fundraising contributions to Republican candidates. What a neat bizarro world that would be.I have no idea, although given the precarious circumstances most illegals live in, I doubt that many would risk arrest and deportation over a vote.
Anyway, if conservatives want to argue that illegals are voting they need to get off their asses and come up with the evidence for it. So far all they have is zilch.
My wife is from Tarzana and Reseda and I lived in San Diego/Yorba Linda for 12.I have no idea, although given the precarious circumstances most illegals live in, I doubt that many would risk arrest and deportation over a vote.

Is the American flag that you undoubtedly have flying over your house now at half mast in mourning over Joe Arpaio being convicted of criminal contempt? My wife is from Tarzana and Reseda and I lived in San Diego/Yorba Linda for 12.
The illegals there and then surely were not living in perilous circumstances.
I don't know if the illegals actually do live in perilous circumstances they flaunt themselves publicly all the time. They do not assimilate.
The ones from Mexico wrap themselves around and a Mexican flag and seem to hold their loyalty to a country they fled.
Much like black live matters President Obama embolden them which helps get president Trump elected.
Jeff Sessions said he was working on this we will see, but perilous circumstances is a big stretch
You are absolutely correct I do have an American flag flying over my house. Is the American flag that you undoubtedly have flying over your house now at half mast in mourning over Joe Arpaio being convicted of criminal contempt?
Sal, I agree with this; and yes, the right can't get out of their own way and accept a path to legalization without citizenship, as anything smelling of amnesty has been turned into an attack issue. George W had this right, but the right killed it; and Rubio probably lost the nomination for his efforts to provide a path to legalization for those already here. This is a great example of where reasonable men and women on both sides of the aisle should be able to agree and pass comprehensive immigration reform, and instead it's a career killer.I think that is a different analysis then what was brought up in the original post. I think the important thing to remember is that a path to citizenship would require a number steps and isn't just a flip a switch matter. Additionally I think that the common ground that is accepted by more on the left then those on the right is allowing amnesty without a specific path to citizenship but rather more open work visa allowances.
I am a big Rubio supporter and hope he runs againSal, I agree with this; and yes, the right can't get out of their own way and accept a path to legalization without citizenship, as anything smelling of amnesty has been turned into an attack issue. DIP, he's a bit more conservative and hawkish than I am, but I voted for him in this past election and would welcome the chance to do so again. He's a smart serious thinker with a moral compass.I am a big Rubio supporter and hope he runs again

That is a really bad survey that you are citing to but go on.An estimated 5.7 million of them voted in 2008.
Wonder how many of the liberal minded folks would be happy to have some of the "good fellas" from MS-13 sneaking into the country drop in for dinner?
You're an idiot if you think the MS-13's from Mexico are any different the the ones from Texas or California. The claim that stopping illegal immigration is going to decrease cartel/gang violence is a false promise on a non-unique harm. MS-13 and other cartels are going to exist in the USA no matter the immigration policy, especially as long as the war on drugs is what it is. Go back to trolling the board with stupid posts about FSU and the ACCWonder how many of the liberal minded folks would be happy to have some of the "good fellas" from MS-13 sneaking into the country drop in for dinner?
I live in Florida and my parents are snowbirds, this is impossible. At best they can cast an absentee ballot.Several Right wing snowbirds I know vote both in Illinois and Florida, and brag about it. They justify it saying they own property in both states and are entitled to protect their investment. And, of course they claim the Democrats do it too, so that makes it okay. They make small changes in how they register, to avoid obvious duplication. Are they the tip of an iceberg of fraudulent voters?
Why do you persist in making up lies about me? The other day, you said I supported illegal immigration and voter fraud. I defy you to find one post of mine expressing those views. Now you claim I'm stating that the story you posted is a lie. Where do you get that? I have no reason to doubt that it's true, just as you know that there are stories about U.S. citizens raping other U.S. citizensThis story is a lie because CNN didn't report on it!

To the high minded liberal thinking folks I say this:
I could go on but you get the idea. Do these things for 2 or more years and then come back and talk with us. Oh yeah, and when your car gets "keyed" or stolen just shrug it off...........as it all comes with the territory.
- Go to the heart of inner city and get involved........really involved. I mean really involved.
- Learn to speak Spanish. And more importantly learn the language of the ghetto.
- Do some volunteer work with organizations like the Salvation Army, Good Will, the Police (PAL), churches, the local Pro teams that do some work in the inner city and/or start your own out reach organization.
- Yeah, you can take kids to the zoo and bar-b-Q's etc. but also invite some of those kids to come into your home, have a sleep over with your kids, cook some meals together in your kitchen and find out what's going on in their lives.
- Drive some of those kids to their homes and see where and how they live. Take them a bag of groceries or put together a good will box.
- Mingle with the families and find out what's going on. Find out who needs protection.
