Wrestling is an incredible sport and test of both mental and physical will and amazing technique. Most people no matter how athletic are not cut out for it. The barrier to wrestling being popular is that most people just cannot relate to it, at all. It’s so technical and to most people it just looks like muscled out guys pushing and pulling on each other until one overwhelms the other. My sons got involved with it for several years and were not bad. There is no better test of character in sports. Four of their teammates went on to win multiple state championships.
