They haven't beaten 1 good team and have looked bad in many games. The first good team they play Michigan St., at home, they lose and that is with Sparty having to play its back up QB's.
The fact we dropped doesn't surprise me because we have played poorly the past few weeks but if nothing else you can argue we have been decimated by injuries. I recall last year the excuse for Ohio St. losing to VT was that they had to start a backup QB but I guess for ND we don't get a BIG10 biased pass. Also I watched ESPN all season listening to that tool Joey Galloway say Ohio St. deserved to be ranked 1st and then 2nd, before they lost, because they won it all last year. How does that make any sense?
Oh well, I knew it would come down to having to play a strong Stanford team for us and I don't know if we can win this one but I have hope. Maybe the drop in rankings is what our kids needed to play better? If not we have won 10 games with backups all over the field and the coaches have done a great job.
