Notre Dame vs Indiana odds

The wind is a much bigger factor than the cold because you have little control over the throw. Of course it's more difficult to catch the ball in the cold. Can't catch a ball the wind causes to sail either.
There’s an enormous difference

You know it’s going to be cold, you don’t know if it’s going be windy

Temperature is a non-factor in the passing game ? ? ?

If you think catching a ball at 25° is no different than catching a ball at 75°
You’ve never played football
The difference is enormous !

WR here. It’s not as much difference as you’re making it out to be. The ball is harder for sure, but strong hands diminish that tremendously. It’s not what you’re making it out to be. That’s for sure

How about the timing factor with route running in 25 degree weather.
A lot also depends upon ball velocity, ie. the QB’s arm.

Not every receiver has strong hands and that ball is slippery in 25 degree weather, not sticky like it is in 75-85 degree weather

But, we’ll know better at midnight on the 20th

There’s reason why Big Ten football was dramatically different from SEC and ACC football for decades

Ok maybe I should have said wind is more of a factor then the cold. I did play football champ, however I was on the defensive side of the ball. Put on a pair of gloves, it helps

I feel like ND has been able to avoid any really good competition all season long and even when we play competitive teams/decent teams their best player is injured or something.

when are we going to get to go toe to toe with a big time national championship competing program head to head so we can FINALLY learn something about this notre dame team? Not until the sugar bowl vs Georgia and even they will be without their #1 QB and then if PSU gets upset by Boise or SMU it wont be until the national championship game.

my point: i want to see notre dame face the best at their best and leave no doubt that ND is the very best team in the country. those opportunities have been far and few between this season.
We avoided or we played the games on our set schedule?

Stop pretending you know anything about football. Go ask you buddy Tom Brady, he has said for years cold weather doesn’t effect the passing game.
