Agree, like I said, Deuce Knight flipping to Lane Kiffin would surprise me.
It wouldn't surprise me. He's from Mississippi, and it's hard to sign 2 top QB recruits in a row. These guys want to play right away, and with Carr looking so good this Spring, Knight might start looking elsewhere. But hopefully we can hold onto him.
There is QB talent on every depth chart. And based on what I have listened to from the kid, flipping would surprise me. A lot.
I believe I heard this right that DK is planning on being at ND for two big recruiting weekends in June.
He’s put a lot of hours and effort into Notre Dame and the 25 class. That’s a lot of wasted time to end up flipping. Always possible, but I can’t think of a guy that seemed this gung ho on ND to flip.
Wasn't there an ND committ that got a Notre Dame logo/leprechaun tattoo back in the mid 00s and then flipped? 😂

His Rivals profile shows he has made eight visits to Notre Dame with a ninth scheduled for an official visit. He was just with some of the players recently practicing.
If a kid has made a visit to Indiana from Mississippi nine times, and he’s already committed there, I’d have a hard time seeing him going anywhere else. It’s definitely possible he decides to flip, but I’m not at all worried about it.

Considering that hew was working out recently with Leonard, CJ Carr and a whole host of WR's -- I seriously doubt it.
Now, does the possibility exist? Absolutely -- until LOI day, they are all free agents. But, as others have mentioned -- he is putting a lot of effort into this class (and his future teammates).
I wouldn't worry about a possible flip on Knight's part. If he stays...great...if he flips...ND has CJ Carr and the Irish are in good position to get either Brady Hart or Noah Grubbs, two Top 10 QB's out of Florida in the 2026 class.
the hit rate on QBs is pretty low. the more prospects you secure at the position the greater the likelihood of eventually hitting on one is.
there's no positive way to look at a decommit from the best prospect in our class.

I think you’re referring to 5* LBer Reuben Foster who was committed to Auburn, got a tattoo, and flipped to Bama in the last couple of weeks before signing day. Maybe there was a ND guy too, but I don’t remember it
Honestly: There is no such thing as ‘commitment’, any longer.
With Joe Alt and Blake Fisher, there was. And many many others who play for Notre Dame.
