They will likely have 2 losses after next week. And comparatively ND beat Purdue and SC better than PSU. Unless PSU wins next week, I can't see how they are ranked higher than ND.
Wait till Monday. We'll know then. Hopefully it's a mild sprain. He was trying to go so it's almost certain it wasn't a torn ACL.
USC did not lead in the fourth quarter for the first time all season.
I saw him walking around etc. hoping it was just precautionary.
Yeah, they showed him running on the sidelines with a brace on his knee. I'm guessing a sprain.
SC has NFL talent everywhere. I’m just happy they won. Oh and that pick 6 by Gray was the best pick 6 I ever saw. Incredible

It looked like you were going to get it too. And then USC drove the field in like 30 seconds yet again. I was almost expecting a third pick six. But this time they scored.
I have to admit I was nervous when it was tied at the half. USC gave us all they had, but we won anyway because they are mediocre and our D made big plays. Playoffs here we come. We may have Alabama in the first round which is not ideal. But I'm gonna enjoy the ride. Good season team! Miami and Ohio State both lost today, so you never know.
With your handle being "Future Domer" I'd take it you're young. Some of us have been around a little longer and have seen a little more over the years.
With that said, you have to remember the defense was on the field for about the last eight minutes due to the two pick-6s. That's a lot of time to be chasing people all over the field. Cut the guys a little slack on that. They were probably spent.
Why would Bama even be in the playoffs? That Okie loss was the deal breaker.

ND had trouble stopping USC (a good not great offense) all game.
Some nice individual playmaking to essentially create a 28 point swing late in the 4th quarter but ND looks very beatable against the top echelon of teams heading into the playoff.

Backups should've been in and AC- wouldn't have got across midfield. They we're trying to run the clock out & our guys we're barely even jogging.
They gave up 560 yards today against the first decent offense theyve played since September.

Don’t forget Price, O Line was phenomenal in the run game. Solid in pass pro, the sack RL took late there was time but they struggle when bringing extras from the 2nd/3rd level.
We played a rivalry game on the west coast against a team with talent and nothing to lose. All the pressure was on us. Perfect recipe for an upset; ask Ohio State. And we still won by 2 scores.

Aren't you disappointed in how beatable an SEC power looked against a middling ACC team?
I think the defense belongs ranked more in the 5-10 range instead of top 5 range (which is a big drop) and the offense is more of a 8-10 range than a 10-15 range.
All of this equates to ND being more of a 5-10 team than a top 5 team IMO
I dont see the upside in this team necessary to win it all .. depending on how the playoff bracket shakes out i can see the team maybe winning the first two rounds but being completely overmatched in the scenario they make it to the semis or national title game.
