ND has opened as a 3.0 to 4.5 favorite depending on the oddsmaker.
Consensus is a 3.5 favorite.

I’m seeing Texas AM as -1 to -1.5 favorites.ND a road favorite in the season opener at a hostile environment. Interesting!
Are you willing to entertain some action based on your line ?I’m seeing Texas AM as -1 to -1.5 favorites.
I meant that websites are putting Texas AM as -1 to -1.5 favorites; not my personal opinion. Fanduel and Draft Kings has AM as the favorite. Are you willing to entertain some action based on your line ?

At +1, I like ND for the time being.
Didn't you say recently that you expect a title in 2024 as well?Going to TAM will not be easy but I expect a win.
It's early May.Every poll I’ve seen has ND ranked higher than TAM, ergo favoring TAM over ND would seem counterintuitive.
A critical question would seem to be:
How would losing the opener impact and alter the rest of the season, panic or calm ?
What, exactly, does that mean ?It's early May.
The game is in August and it will be as hot as the sun. A and M is a very hostile environment and some of the most annoying fans in the country. Elko will have the d ready...but ND should have a field day against their oline.Every poll I’ve seen has ND ranked higher than TAM, ergo favoring TAM over ND would seem counterintuitive.

The fanbase and this forum would have a complete meltdown. I believe the coaches, players, etc. would be calm.Every poll I’ve seen has ND ranked higher than TAM, ergo favoring TAM over ND would seem counterintuitive.

A loss would seem to place a significant hurdle in terms of ND getting to the playoffs. Some in the fan base would have a meltdown. Some in this forum would have a meltdown.
If we were going to lose a game next year I would rather it be early in the season than late. I think it’s a close game but ND pulls away late in the 4th. Jmo.A loss would seem to place a significant hurdle in terms of ND getting to the playoffs.
I think it would also place a great deal of pressure on the coaching staff
If we lose one game next year, regardless if its early or late, we'll be hosting a Playoff game in South BendIf we were going to lose a game next year I would rather it be early in the season than late. I think it’s a close game but ND pulls away late in the 4th. Jmo.
Fanduel has A&M favored by 1.5. I'll take the +1.5 all day long. A&M has lost so many players, that #1 class 3 years ago is a shell of itself. ND will win this game.Game looks like a pickem. I would not bet either side with so much uncertainty (Irish largely new offense and Aggies new coach). But the under 50 seems like a winner. Two former defensive coordinator head coaches, and two new offensive coordinators who (while innovative) will be trying to figure out what works. Aggies have a talented defense and ND has an elite defense. I would not bet anything that cuts against the Irish scoring a gazillion points, but that under seems like a live pick.
Yeah I except a title. What’s your point?Didn't you say recently that you expect a title in 2024 as well?
Or was that someone else?
They probably have the most pure talent of any team we'll play all season. Elko is a very good coach and he knows Leonard. Its game 1 at night in a hostile environment and in the heat.I expect a tough game. Would be shocked if Elko doesn’t have his team ready. Notre dame probably needs close to its A game if they are going to win.
Weigman can sling it
IMO, USC does. They probably have the most pure talent of any team we'll play all season. Elko is a very good coach and he knows Leonard. Its game 1 at night in a hostile environment and in the heat.
Will be a tough game. I expect a lower scoring game
Sounds scary! ND by 10-13 pts. I'm not feeling the hype of the 12th man, a new coach, and the pure talent of a 5-7 football team. They probably have the most pure talent of any team we'll play all season. Complete Melt Down. You already know.Every poll I’ve seen has ND ranked higher than TAM, ergo favoring TAM over ND would seem counterintuitive.

I would say 3rd for USC. Am has recruited better than themIMO, USC does.
When will NBC come out with the home start times for this year?ESPN reporting this will be a primetime game on ABC.
Likely in the next week or two. Last year it was released May 24th.When will NBC come out with the home start times for this year?
Feels odd to see the rest of the old SWC is on our side.Been announced that College GameDay will be there. The meltdown of the haters on social media has been loud and stupendously predictable.
Love it!
Go Irish! Beat Aggies!!
Thanks for the insight MelI would say 3rd for USC. Am has recruited better than them
