Bunch of "what ifs?"
If NC wins out and then crushes Clemson I think they should be in. Right?
If Oklahoma drops on and still beats OKSt, bye bye Big 12.
If OSU gets beat by either MSU or M, then beats Iowa, bye bye Big 10.
But what if Iowa runs the table and beats OSU or MSU in the B10 game? They're in, right?
So, go... Clemson, Baylor, TCU, (gulp) Michigan, and then (gulp) OSU. This time of year does make strange bedfellows, doesn't it?
In the end this Irish team just has to take care of business.
Beat an always tough BC team (remember how they took the NC Championship away from the best team in college football -- nobody would argue this now - in '93) and then Stanford a top ten team.
But, hot damn, isn't it great to be in the conversation again?!
Go Irish!
Maybe they should defer to graduation rates if there is a tie? (Hey, look at that! They have!)
