Need Temple winning out, while ND beats Stanford. Watching Kizer fight in tough games makes me think this kid might be one of those TT types that can put a team on his back and will the team to win! But ND does need some help from other teams!
They can't rank Clemson #1 and turn around and tell us all that Notre Dame isn't any good.
word case scenario I'd bama beats lsu close and both stay in front of Notre Dame. Lsu going undefeated would eliminate Alabama and Florida. Clemson at one and lsu at two gives us a few scenarios as the schedule plays out and the big 10 & 12 cannabilize each other. We need Ms OSU Baylor and tcu to lose to feel good. And beware OU.
OU's problem is that they lost to Texas. We beat Texas 38-3.
The significance of ND ranking is that of 1 loss teams, ND lost to a higher ranked team (Clemson #1)

Stanford has to keep winning
If helps if Temple beats Memphis
and
ND needs to keep winning.
A concern is Clemson has only FSU; not a challenging sched and Clemson could get jumped.
The final four might look very different from this weeks pub result and probably more like recent years.

I dismissed Temple because of the name only but after watching them, that is a excellent team. They remind me a LOT of Stanford teams. Hard nosed and great fundamentals. They are probably as good a tackling team as I've seen in a long time
