I heard McGovern isn't going to UVA anymore. Is he picking a different school or is there a chance he comes back to ND now that the depth chart looks better?

He didn't like it at ND. I doubt a change in the depth chart would get him to like his experience more.

I have a good friend who is a professor at UVA. I will follow up on this...Give me some time. I can't do everthing...

" He didn't like it at ND "

Then why did he stay for 4 years ?

Possible that he didn't like where his role in the program was but if he didn't like both of those situations I doubt he sticks around for 4 years.

Kids from here usually have options.

"Last winter, Notre Dame offensive lineman Colin McGovern made a similar choice.

Now, he’ll have to stick by it.

The 6-foot-5, 310-pound offensive lineman — who played in 11 games at right guard last season and made eight starts — was slated to make a graduate transfer to Virginia, but Cavaliers head coach Bronco Mendenhall announced last week that McGovern will not join the program after all.

One thing is certain: he won’t be returning to his alma mater.

“We think that our roster is set as it stands right now,” Kelly said. “We don’t know what the circumstances are surrounding that (McGovern situation). He’s not coming back to Notre Dame." ---Mike Vorel South Bend Tribune

On a related note, Boudreaux has transferred to UCF.

Lots of "Harry" losses. New talent in scaring people or some issue?

Most were 4 stars. Seems strange. Really hated to lose Parker. Just liked that guy for some reason.

I've consistently read where Parker is undersized. He looked like a stud coming out of high school, but he seems capped at around 285, which is small by today's standards.

I hope PB has a stellar career. Having said that, I would have been more impressed if he had transferred to OSU, AL, Clemson etc. but UCF? That decision/choice "may" be more telling than anything else.

He's simply not going to be big enough to start on a major D1 team until his 4th or 5th year....thus UCF

Wasn't he out sick for awhile during his freshman year? That may have played into his lack of weight gain as well.
