The football schools OSU, Bama, Georgia pretty much own recruiting for the top 200 players in the country including 5 stars, therefore, these schools are stacked three deep with studs who could start on most power 5 programs. For example, Ty Simpson is stuck behind two QB’s at Bama and Sayin is coming in next year. Simpson could easily start some place else just how long is he going to stick around under the new portal rules he can transfer without any penalty. Highly rated four star players are not going to sit on the bench for very long in our instant gratification world that we live in.
NIL is spacing out the talent to other schools. Those highly rated players have even more incentive to go to another school instead of picking the pine when there is money involved. Texas A&M basically bought a recruiting class or Oregon has a ton of Nike money behind them. We will see even more parody in the future. Everyone knows how messed up the whole situation has become out of control, but the dynasties days will fade away.
