Kelly does it again

National Title game in 2012. If that is failure.. Sign me up for more.
I bet Echo is an excellent teacher.
That national title game was an embarrassment and obviously nothing positive has happened since. I'm sure echo pushes his liberal viewpoints on his students.

ND can and will do better one day.

Very proud to be a teacher. Saying Kelly has "failed mightily " just shoes how little you know about the game.
What has he done so well?

Yup, I'm a know-nothing. Of course 4-8 is success these days. What am I thinking???????

You probably preach that to your students that everyone should get a trophy. You're constantly blinded by your love affair with Kelly, thus making your opinions look so silly.

You never have facts. You're just an arrogant pos that runs away after dropping a meaningless rip.

I am sure Echo plans each classroom day thinking how he can push his political views on his students. ;)

"echo is a hip shooter; nothing more. just don't give him place."

I am not attacking echo, but replying in response to his post, I was not trying to be rude or flippant, just saying something I observe to be true from reading this forum almost daily and his borish contribution (if you can call it that).

Besides, I am not in favor of 'ganging' up on a poster; mostly because those who do initiate the personal attacks have far too many aliases to compete/contend with.

It's good to see his education doesn't get in the way of his ignorance!

He who can't teach needs a union to hide behind!
Good Lord, ragging on teachers now???? What's next - the troops?? Police/Firefighters??

Give it a rest. Teachers are one of the most under-appreciated and under-paid professions out there - yet one of THE most important.

There has to be a special place reserved in Hell for teacher bashers.

Please keep talking, I always yawn when I'm interested.

Kizer not being ready ?
Well, not being ready is something Kelly certainly knows something about!

Kizer has signed his 1st endorsement deal. He will be in the NFL.
Kelly will get another year in college. I guess NFL GM's feel he just isn't ready.

Let's see what kind of contract DK gets and combined with endorsements, whether he should have stayed another year.
We all know Kizer is going to be picked higher then he should be. NFL teams will reach for a QB higher then there value really is. That's what they do.

I have doubt he will go 1st round. Watson and DK are similar and Watson will go 1st. The other 2 (MT & PM)are safer picks and GM's are less inclined to go with the 'long run' pick. The long run pick usually becomes a success for another team.

If DK can goto a team who has an incumbant vet at QB that is his best situation.
He can develop far better under NFL coaching. The notion returning to a hostile fan base at ND to be mentored by a rookie QB coach under a 1st year OC, and a head coach that clearly had resevations about his ability, and who has been prone to a qwik trigger for pulling QB's, is a rediculous notion.

You really think it's better to sit a year in a NFL team and get little to no practice reps over starting 12 or so college games? You think it's better to prove yourself sitting on the bench over playing 12 college games and getting so actual experience? Wow that is dumb.

wait: you guys want BW, no? You guys want DK sitting anyways?
and
DK will be getting valuable exposure to NFL coaching, playbook study, travel, etc. This year of study would be requisite whenever he came out to the draft. Every rook goes through it. A different life.
Based upon Kelly's recent comments I am more convinced DK was wise to enter the draft.
And there are financial incentives now that are a gamble for '18. And:
He would avoid the exposure to one of Kelly's QB competitions and replace that with actual NFL experiences and exposure. He still gets to practice and study. AND you/I are assuming he gets limited P.T.
Who knows, he may surprise.

Enjoy BW, for if he has an outstanding (Watson type year) year, he is eligible for the '18 draft. And my opinion would be: carpe diem.

I think he should get paid as soon as he can. No guarantees.
