When do we get a full game out of him?

I know the expectations for him were sky high this year. But he has had plenty of time to get the rust knocked off, or get used to the players, or whatever other excuse was used.

He seems to average 2 or 3 just 'bad' plays a game. Where he is caught asleep on coverage or completely out of place, or even worse somehow.

A great pass rush is lacking . He is on an island every snap . Win some lose some. The safety help or lack of is pretty scary also. He needs to stay another season . Not a pro just yet.

Russell needs to stay another year if he wants to improve his draft status With the high powered passing attacks in the NFL,college defensive backs are always a high priority by pro scouts . Russell definitely needs another year.

He'd totally benefit greatly from an additional year. He make big plays but also make several mistakes each game. Silly mistakes at that. I like his talent he just needs to become more consistent. Make the simple plays sort of thing. With all of this Joe Schmidt debate we're having, the one thing you can say about Russell is that you cannot teach his explosive ability. A player either wakes up with that or they simply do not possess it.

I didn't think he did because of the academic suspension but somebody made a great point the other day about Russell never using his Red Shirt (unlike Everett Golson who like Russell, also set out a year for academic violations) so I did some looking around.
