has Kelly lost the fan base?

Let's hope the 'buyout' is not a one sided as the Weis buyout! Else, why let White leave? Could Jack have gotten as fleeced?

I was at the ND Fantasy camp this summer and experienced Swarbrick and Kelly interacting with one another. These guys are all in together and both have the same agenda. I don't think Jack would consider firing Kelly unless we have a losing season.

The 2 major problems of this defense are 1) poor fundamentals and 2) players don't understand the scheme.

Its going to be very, very difficult to shift defensive philosophy in the middle of the season.
