It’s worse than that. They also take our 5 star recruits like Keeley. Is so bad that in 2023, we had 0 5 star kids. Even BK would get 5 star kids. Until ND makes football a priority again like they did under Holtz, this is the new normal. When 5 star kids see that Bama is the destination for other recruits and even our coaches, it says to them that ND is tier two. When Michigan hires a HC from the NFL that made a Super Bowl and rebuilt a college program, but ND hires a first time HC in his 30’s bc kids like him, it tells you where priorities are. Winning enough games to sell tickets and being 3rd best out of the border states is enough these days for fans and directors alike.
