I listen to it every Monday. I would recommend it to anyone.
3 takes from this week's show. Tillery's bowl suspension was due to a drug issue. It slipped out by Mike's cohost. Very alarming. They question his commitment to football. He has a ton of outside interests.
The 2nd take was that Elmer is questioning whether he wants to play again next year. I hope he decides to play but has to earn his job back. Finally they talked about Max Redfield. They mentioned once again that Max likes to rely on his athletic ability and thinks he is much better than he is. They hope he is not treated as an incumbent and has to earn the job with the rest of the candidates.

Mike strongly believes that in front of every silver lining lurks a dark cloud![smile] Mr. Reagan is an extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful football analyst! He is an upgrade certainly from his voluble [I couldn't spell loquatious ] predecessor. I also make a point of listening.

I heard Tillery was late for practice. I doubt if it was a drug issue he would have been on the field warming up before the game. They would have sent him home.

I hope that is the case but M. Frank is pretty plugged in.

Plugged in or not it's not something you make public if you want to continue to have insider access.

If M Frank said this and it isn't true, I hope Tillery sues him....

This story doesn't sound right....

I was a member of his site for year.. from when he was associated with Scout, to his brief stay with ESPN, until a year ago. I usually listen to PH but I didn't this week (yet) so I don't know what exactly was said but one thing I know about Mike is that he never says anything if he isn't 100% certain and has verified it 5 times.

I cannot remember a time when he was wrong on a recruit. I'll never forget that before the day before Manti announced Mike said that ND had a better chance than most people thought. He didn't call Manti but he was the only person I knew that gave them a chance.

I agree. He seems like a stand up guy and I am wondering if there was a misinterpretation..... It just seems odd....

In fact Mr. Frank did not say "it" Mr. Reagan said it. went no further than a quick offhand comment and was not further discussed.

Thanks for clarity. Did you hear what was said?

I want to make sure everyone understands it wasn't Mike Frank who said it. It was his broadcast partner, Bill Reagan, who said it and it sounded like it just slipped out. Since it is Frank's show he has to be responsible for what is said but he isn't the one who said it.
