Gov Christie reminded of a story about Former Gov Byrne in Jersey.
Gov. Byrne said when he died he wanted to be buried in Hudson County (Jersey City?) so he could keep on to voting!

It is absolutely amazing how our country has deteriated and so has jornalism. When I went to College in the late 1950's, I always tried to read a number of different Newspapers. The New York Times became a must
read. I read it for years along with the WSJ.
As the years passed,the Times became more and more biased untill one day, I realized that it was like reading complete propaganda from the left. The Times was much more subtle in its propaganda
than it is today, but it was changing from a once great journal to a complete RAG.
Today it is dead as far as I am concerned. Unfortunately, most of the media print and broadcast
spread all the same propaganda.
The Major Media is pretty dumb because their lack of objectivty and real journalism has lost them more than half of their potential market, but I guess as long as they get enough advertising money,
they keep existing ?
I still read the WSJ and IBD, but I have dropped my subscriptions to the National Review,
and a number of other magazines including the Economist which is getting less about pure ecomomics
and more about Left wing views.
At least now, I am saving money and advoiding wasting my time reading Left wing
idiotic nonsense.

The Economist used to a great business magazine which was center left but with objectivity. It's gone the way of the rest of them in past few years and become increasingly a left wing rag.
