Hurry up offense. The spead offense with Zone reads misdirection and throw it all over the field.
I think we now have the Coaching staff and talent to do this.
No one can beat Bama with a old fashioned running game. As you can see against LSU their front seven is too beastly.
When we played Bama last time Golson, Tyler Eifert, Davaris Daniels and TJ Jones had some success but with Will Fuller, Alize Jones, Torii Hunter, Chris Brown, Corey Robinson and Amir Carlisle we have too many weapons to fully control. Add to that the running game with CJ Prosise, Josh Adams, Dexter Williams and Deshone Kizer is better than we had with Riddick and Wood.
But most importantly the Oline we have now is much better than the oline we had in 2012.
It is nice having a qb that is 6'4" 235 lbs who can run and throw.
On defense we have much more speed with Jaylon Smith, K Russell (older), Elijah Shumate, James O AND Max Redfield. We also have a very stout Dline---maybe not as big as the 2012 team but quicker and in much better shape. No lazy out of shape players like Louis Nix and Stephon Tuitt. Kap Moore was the only in shape gym rat we had at the time.
Our dline now;
Isaac Rochelle, Sheldon Day, Romeo Okwara, Andrew Trumbetti, Daniel Cage, and Jerry Tillery are all in great shape and quick.
Our special teams are also a lot better than in 2012.
I believe ND can beat Alabama in an upset. The coaching staff is much better IMO including Coach Kelly.
This team is badass and will not be afraid of Bama.
