I dont know who we can get. I'm not talking to QBs, I'm not recruiting them. Only our coaches would know that information

Agreed, but I think we should all be happy if Hartman does in fact transfer to ND. He represents a really good pick up, a significant upgrade to Pyne, a ton of experience, and either a one year bridge or a great backup if Buchner wins the starting job.

Supposedly this leak was made, and released out into the internet ether, and to ND fans in particular, on very good authority. And this was not some sort of lame anonymous rumor. As in there was seemingly very good and every reason to believe it was legit. And that's how it was framed.

Well I think he'd be a great pick up. He's not going to win the Heisman, but he's a very solid college QB. I have friends in NC who are Duke football fans who say he's really good.

Personally think there’s no way Buchner beats him out to start… Buchner needs to improve immensely to have packages more than jut garbage time
Buchner has about as good a chance at beating out Hartman as Pyne does in beating out Tom Brady.
