Even the offense scored 47 they seem to be very inconsistent. no wait maybe if we went earlier to Kizer we would have scored more. On the other hand our receivers are not there yet. If you watch the routes they were not breaking free enough. One overall flaw is we do not have that guy that will stretch the field like a Fuller. It just is not there. They need a lot more time. The Running game could have been better and even the O-line was not that consistent. Even with those flaws they scored 47 points.
Defensively they are horrid. They did play better in the 2nd half but still not stopping an offense when you need to in excusable. We should never be in the situation where we are down 17 to a good team and ask that D to win for us. Our secondary is terrible and the front 4 was average at best. The linebacking crew was inconsistent. They need better talent on D to be in the college playoffs.
They still possible could win the rest of their games. I watched Stanford they are not all that great either. However if I were to be a realist here they probably lose at least 1 more. My guess it will be an upset. So 10-2 or 9-3.
As far as coaching goes
Van Gorder should put his resume out there Kelly needs to release him by the end of the season unless their is a miracle change. Kelly should of started Kizer . He appears to be the best. Even if Kizer goes down I would be tempted to use WIMBUSH
