Boy they can't hardly help themselves when it comes to bashing the Irish. Why isn't Will Fuller even mentioned in the Heisman race? If Notre Dame had a Television contract with them they would be all over the Irish.

Yea I think there are better examples of ESPN bias then a perceived slight against fuller. Guy has been amazing overall but he's not a heisman contender.

I feel like generally ND has been getting more love then usual from ESPN. Granted that isn't saying a lot

have yet to figure out why some get so upset about what is said or written that is not pro nd. I fail to see an anti nd agenda anywhere. opinions are just that. no different than here.

You guys hear Mike and Mike this AM? Feinbaum was on, and he was certainly not complimentary of Notre Dame. ESPN clearly has a bias against ND.

Feinbaum is just a mouth piece, who really cares what he thinks. I mean hell, look at the guy

I think that's nonsense. if someone doesn't share your opinion they have a bias ? does he have to be complimentary or should he say what he believes ?

And David Pollack last night was complimentary of Notre Dame, which would mean, under your logic, that ESPN is in favor of ND.

LOLZ... Feinbaum is a character that ESPN pays to preach all that SEC. ESPN having a character that caters to the SEC that is predominately on a subsidiary network called THE SEC network doesn't mean ESPN has a bias. In the past think that argument could be made but this year the reporting and commentary regarding ND from ESPN has been generally pretty level and fair.

agreed. I think some like getting upset about perceived nd snubs.

ESPN gives Notre Dame a little more favorable coverage whenever that week's game is going to be on ABC(ESPN). They give ND less coverage overall when the game's going to be on NBC. Its not really rocket science.

If you watched the rankings show last night I don't know how you could not see an anti-ND bias from ESPN. Herbstreit and Galloway kept dismissing the Irish and they were both shocked when they stayed at the #4 spot. Then they laid out how ND was going to get pushed out in the future. ND needs to win out, but they are going to need help too.

Not bias. Those are predictions that a lot of people have. Even some ND fans on this board who keep posting about how they are worried about ND. Not saying bias doesn't exist just saying that this year the bias isn't as inherent or strong as some want to portray it.

Everyone should love and praise ND at all times. Short of that, they're haters.

I don't think Fuller should be in the Heisman conversation either. I'm certainly not anti-ND.

because YOU didn't care for their opinions on nd that makes them biased ?

fuller is a great wr but he has had a few games this year where he didn't do much and that is why he probably isn't in the Heisman race

Corey Coleman, Baylor's star receiver is having a much, much better season than Will Fuller, on a one loss team... Fuller won't even win the Biletnikoff award this year (Coleman and Doctson are the more productive players), let alone the Heisman...

Is ESPN biased against ND? Yep. Is Fuller not being in the Heisman race any type of proof of that? No.

IIO---right on point, as usual.

"LOLZ"?? What are you, an 8th grade girl? Was it really laugh out loud funny?

Yes that is what you take from the response... you got me so good with that burn I am an 8th grade girl that loves ND football.

They have a mix of commentators, as far as ND support goes. Kanell likes us, as does Pollack (probably because his old coach is our DC). Many others don't, however. Herbstreit's usually pretty neutral, which is why I was a little surprised by him last night, arguing for the Big 12 over us.

With all the debate about marquee wins not one mention of Ohst's lack of one. A great ? for the committee rep would be what criteria they are using for Ohst being #3 with the worst strength of schedule of any top 10 team and no marquee wins.

Bias? I don't see it, but everyone has their favorites and a whole lot of people would love to screw with ND to push them into a conference.

All said, and there is plenty of possible scenarios, at 11-1 I still believe ND will be in, and maybe even # 3.

FYI - Finebaum had ND at #4 in his personal rankings on Monday before the official rankings came out. He's been a mixed bag in terms of his comments toward ND because, besides the fact he has ND at #4, he also is one of those who believes ND should join a conference. He thinks we are way behind the times. Of course, I think most of us think that sort of commentary is silly considering a lot of other teams would love to have the same TV deal and following as us if they could, but I think overall Finebaum hasn't been anti-ND. He's just a curmudgeon who likes to stir the pot whenever he can.

Wasn't trying to burn you. Just pointing out that grown men don't respond with "LOLZ" to reasonable points. Do yourself a favor and try to stop doing that.

I will try and when I am finally able to climb up to that grown man ivory tower I make sure I look out for you.
