It sure felt like it.

I was having flashbacks to Palmer, Leinert, Williams and all the other Trojans that owe their Heismans to prime time games against ND

No....they played with a mediocre secondary.....which made the quarterback look all world.

ND faced adversity
1. Go look at teams traveling to the west coast and what their win/loss record is especially a 1230 kick time.
2. With the game & season on the line the defense on the ropes they made back to back game/season breaking plays.
3. ND 1st team that USC never had lead against.
4. Our season is alive & we have a realistic chance to win the title.

They did move the ball pretty freely, and drove pretty easily in the 2nd half. It wasn't something you're used to seeing But the defense still totally delivered though. I suppose that's a mark of a great defense. Who get's back to back 100 yard pick sixes, like some sort of instant good karma, an offering to the football gods, after letting USC drive the field with ease.

In that sense they really did come through, despite all yards given up.

Teams have been beating themselves against us all year. Luck , or good d?

USC has got a Qb not sure who comes back for them but they should of been way better then 6 -5 with talent they have on offense. The wide receivers are good the running back is really good if they get even better on defense next year they are going to be a top 10 team thank God we have them here next season.
