ND loses by 3 to Texas on the road in double OT.

The offense was really good at times.
The defense stopped the bleeding long enough for the offense to erase a 31-14 deficit.
It's possible Texas might be the best team ND faces all year.

I'm looking forward to the rest of this season.

Must be happy hour where ever your at ? FWIW - Texas will not be the best team we face all year. Their offense last season was one of the lowest scoring offenses in the B12 last year. They started a true freshmen QB and center. They will end up around 7 and 5 or 8-4. They put up 50 on us with 500 yards of offense. If not for some bad snaps by their center they would of neat us in regulation.

Our few stops that we had were TX self induced by their center at least on 2 separate drives where he sent shitty snaps past his qb. Those stops had nothing to do with our shitty D.

are you drinking out of a thimble?

Ah there is one of the tried and true standards I have been waiting for......

"Team (fill in the blank) is the best team ND will face all year"...

I mean... Yeah it's Notre Dame Football. We only have 13 of these a year so I'm in. Cup is always half full. But damn: Kizer 44 points! Google Kizer against Texas and just read the title of all of the links. NFL scouts are DROOOOLING! Some are openly asking what Brian Kelly could possibly have seen to make the call he's made. I love Malik. I feel for him. I really do but Deshone is Cam Newton with more touch and brains. Before I'm blasted here: Cam's Auburn team was loaded. Notre Dame is a top 15 talent type team.

Anyway... Yeah I think ND can win out if Kizer's named the starter. Let Malik come in to spot check him when he runs into a rough patch as all QB's do. But ND has Michigan State, Va Tech, Miami and Stanford all at home. USC offense looks to be as bad as ND's defense! There's no reason the Irish can't win out. Which makes Kizer's 44 point night all the more painful to swallow.

Go Irish!
