He will need to play well for us to win unlike in some of our other games. With that said, he has all the tools to do so. If he has another 9/19 performance and we lose, I think we should go with Angeli against Navy and BC. If he’s awful then maybe go back to Pyne for USC. But it’s clear Pyne should not be our qb going forth, and I think we should dominate navy and bc regardless of who’s qb.

I never said he would save the qb situation, if I thought that I’d say start him immediately. I just think it would be a good idea to get him reps so he can either be the backup next season or worst case start if we don’t land a transfer. Pyne is legitimately below average, if Angeli can even be an average qb it makes us better.
Then we still should be able to beat Navy and BC. And we can go back to Pyne for USC if Angeli is that terrible. Kinda hard to be much worse than Pyne right now though when you factor in the talent around him…
You do waster Angeli's eligibility on a maybe. More than 4 games could be a future problem for his interests.
only good thing about Buchner getting hurt is that Pyne will ow com back he likely transferred if he sat all year with no 2023 qb not having Pyne come back woulda been nuclear
