CFP Top 25

I didn't say they would dumbass. I said they should.

But after the SC game we'll revisit this proposition

Warde Manuel has a huge B10 bias. Having Indiana ranked 5th and PSU 4th obviously showed that
Last chance to make the bet. Let me know before 7:30 PM Eastern Standard Time, if you want to make this bet

So OSU loses to an unranked 5 loss Michigan team at home and drops just 4 spots. Miami loses to a 9 win top 25 Syracuse team on the road and drops 6 spots. No, there's no bias in the cfp.
OSU also gave Penn State and Indiana their only losses so that probably plays a part in that. The issue I have is that they can put Alabama in front of Miami with more losses, but they can’t put Miami in front of Boise State (I know BSU automatically qualifies anyway). If Miami plays BSU’s schedule, they likely finish 10-2 at worst. If BSU plays Miami’s schedule, they likely finish 10-2 at the very best. Their schedules aren’t remotely close.

Last year in the Miami-Louisville game, the Canes had two stupid unsportsmanlike conduct plays that contributed to the loss at the end of the game.

This year against Syracuse, with a playoff spot on the line, the Canes had the ball 2nd and goal from the 8 and one of the same players from the Louisville game committed another idiotic foul to make it 2nd and G from the 23 at the end of the game. They settled for a field goal and lost the game.

It’s just amazing that these guys can’t control their emotions. So dumb.

Stupid is as stupid does.

That's one criteria and according to their guidelines they aren't supposed to look at margin of victory. Strength of schedule is the other. This is why I believe ND will not jump ahead of PSU if PSU wins this weekend.
You were correct again.

Notre Dame stayed behind Penn State.

and Penn St has achieved what, a good loss?
By that reasoning, what has ND achieved? Not even that.

PSU’s best win has a higher ranking than ND’s best win being Army. Seeing Army qualifying as that brings a whole lot of non-positive thoughts to one’s mind.

Going with a MOV idea puts ND in a class with IU. Not sure ND supporters want to go that direction.

Another Pedo loser coming to the ND forum. Shouldn't you be on the Oregon forum telling them how great Pedo U is?

We're currently ranked 4th, but in place for the 6th seed. But depending on how the SEC and Big Ten championships play out, we could end up anywhere from the 5th to the 7th seed.

For example, if Penn State beats Oregon, then both of those teams would stay ahead of us. But if Georgia beats Texas, Georgia jumps up to the 1 or 2 seed, but how far does Texas fall? Do they fall behind us, or stay ahead of us? If they stayed ahead, then we'd drop down to the 7th seed.

But if Texas beats Georgia and Oregon beats Penn State by 2 touchdowns, then Penn State likely drops below us, and we move up to the 5th seed. And we could also stay in the 6th spot by some other combination of the above.

PSU will drop below ND if they lose regardless of the score.

ND is a 5 seed as long as Oregon wins. Oregon loses they stay as the 6th seed imo.

Really? How are they pro's and not in the NFL. please explain that to me.
Same way that barring injury Price and Love are pros as is the entire TE room and at least 3/5 of ND's offensive line. Xavier Watts, Morrison, Kiser, Shular, Mills and Cross are pros as well.

Texas drops below with a loss.

They said they wouldn't punish teams for losing a CCG. But Manuel also said there might be some reshuffling after the CCGs. So we don't really know right now. Most people seem to think it could depend on how close the games are.

And personally, I think the winner of 10-2 ASU and 10-2 ISU should jump Alabama and move into the 11th seed, and Bama should drop to the 12th seed. Because IMO an 11-2 Big 12 champ deserves to be ranked ahead of a 9-3 at-large team, that lost to 2 unranked teams. But not sure if they'll do that or not.

Penn St losing puts them where in the CFP rankings? They are ranked 3rd now and only there now because of the OSU loss. ND is 4th now. Texas losing to Georgia puts them where? Georgia would have beaten them twice meaning they are flat out better than Texas.

Well, that's the thing - we don't know exactly how they'll handle that. They've said they won't punish CCG losers, but they've also said there might be some reshuffling after the games. So who knows.
