Maybe Golson can start turning it over and Johnson can dial one up........
I know... they are tough and Golson is improving each week...I think FSU goes undefeated until they run into Clemson. Even then Golson is playing at a high level and their RB is a beast.
Yep, and I remembered the '77 69-14 beat down we put on them.... wish this year's game ended a few minutes earlier.....remember when somee on this board were practically making GaTech out to be the 80's Canes? Yeah they havent won a game since and they're 2-5 or something like that.
I said that on another thread some time ago, and some dismissed it. You could tell by his demeanor and posture that he and Kelly didn't click. Some just don't take to the "screamer" coaching style. But that's just my opinion.I wonder if Golson and BK just didn't mesh well.
Better off with out a QB that is undefeated on a top 10 team?Golson was high maintenance. He came back from that San Diego
qb guru guy like a prima donna. The hell w/ Golson - hope BK told him "dont let the door hit you on your ass on the way out "
We are better off w/out him - thankfully.

A little cockey don't you think? Coach Fisher is slmply playing him within his abilities.
I felt Kelly drove Golseon away but Kelly is not entirely to blame. Kelly invested a lot of time in Golson and he just did not get it done. Maybe asked Golson to do too much but that was why Kelly recruited him. If FSU wants to utilize Goslon in a conservative passing game, ask him to hand off to the RB's 70% of the time and not make plays...well, FSU has a caretaker which ND does nor want or need. The difference between Golson at ND and Golson at FSU is what he's asked to do. At ND, he was expected to be the leader and contribute a huge amount on an offense that is the reason ND wins games. I think that was too much for him. At FSU he's a game manager, much like his frosh season here. They win with defense and one of the 2 best running backs in the country. Golson doesn't have to play well for FSU to win. He didn't have that luxury here (and neither does Kizer now).
Very well could be coachingGolson has improved every game this year.
Last game against a very stingy Louisville defense:
26/34 for 372 yds.
68.4 completion %
INT's = 0 for the year
Fumbles = 0 for the year
Golson ranks #1 in the nation for completions of medium passes from 9 to 19 yds. Those are difficult throws and not just pitch and catch at the LOS.
Will Golson be invited to the Heisman ceremony? Time will tell. The Clemson game looms large.

Unlikely, but possible if Georgia Tech suddenly starts playing like who we thought they were before the season. UCLA kind of started doing that last night.

Kizer is edging Golson in pass efficiency... Can you do me a favor and link that source on the mid range stuff? I'd love to see it. Thanks.

I know I've seen the chart somewhere.... I didn't save the locale....Re: médium range passes 9-19 yds. Heard that on ESPN yesterday. Go to ESPN and enter Everett Golson. It's on one of the videos where the guy is talking about the play of the year.

ESPN guy said Golson is completing 80%+ in the 9-19 yd. med. range. It's in there. Let us know which video if you find it.
GT will probably lose to FSU. We'll have to wait for Clemson and UF who will both beat on FSU.
As they have been in the recent past, FSU is a product of playing an easy schedule. Golson has been a God's send for them as the would have two losses without him so far this year.
Golson is very good, but not good enough to start in front of MZ and at this point I would take Kizer over him.
Great days ahead for the Irish and even though EG may be stained from this year he will walk through life known as a graduate of Notre Dame and most will forget this year of purgatory.
ah, CGVR - you are a greed monger rascal. Next I expect to see a thread from you "Can FSU help us out and beat Clemson?"Unless Cook gets hurt, I see no chance for G-Tech.

I know your every move. LOL
^^^^^So stupid, can't read and can't spell. Further proof of the fraud it is!
I hope not. We need Clemson to win out.Really think the Canes will give Clemson all they want tomorrow.
