Brian Kelly has to Go!!!

Not sure I would say that although I admit it is strange he went so conservative at the end of the game. Your defensive backfield just wasn't that good tonight and your O-line is strong but slow. The UT defense was pretty good and your offense put up a ton of points on them. Your O-line needs to deal with quick guys. One thing I can't figure out; you re so good short yardage but struggle in other run defense. Needs to be fixed before Stanford

He's not an elite coach. Harbaugh jumped him in a blink of an eye. BK is CW-2.

BK gave the game away tonight to Texas.

Just buy out BK and save the heartache in years to come. ND needs a coach that closes games and feels no sympathy for opposing coaches.

BK just got an extension. ND is very happy with him and the direction of the program. They have said as much. BVG is Kelly's hand picked guy and Kelly is happy with him. No changes in SB. The admin is happy and we should be as well. Now keep buying ND stuff... and like it.

Lol. Purse you said this already in another thread!

Oh and with your other handle too.

If Kelly were to quit or be fired, both of which won't happen. I'd go after the Houston coach. That guy is a very good coach.

One coach that needs to be done is BVG -- 50 points in a game, even with 2 QB's SHOULD be enough to win -- people are saying 2 QB's does not work -- did anyone notice that Texas USED 2 QB'S effectively? The offense was not the main issue last night -- the defense (or lack there of) was the issue. Not sure what game plan the DB's were using, but it did not fit last night.

Terrific post..... This guy gets it.

I thought the teamed looked good but a weak secondary minus Max Redfield cost the game. There were mistakes by Kelly: the conservative play at the end, the wasted timeout loss on an obvious non-interception and another wasted time out near the end, but to be honest every game can be criticized afterwords.

Missed opportunities for both teams. Couple of dropped bombs by Texas and why your QB stopped running on that double throw I will never know.

Yes, Texas used two QB's. However, they used them effectively. One was strictly going to pound the middle while the other was going to be the traditional QB. Kelly used the two system QB to do the same thing. There was no reason for ND to use two QB's. Especially when one was clearly outplaying the other.

Dline was terrible too. the DEs did not know where they are supposed to line up. BVG needs to go back to the NFL and Coach Kelly needs to hire someone from the college level, anyone of the up and comers young coaches from Alabama or LSU, not the coordinators but below them. On a lot of the front 4 plays,1 or 2 in the group was standing up looking around not knowing where to go. If the scheme is too complex, they need to dumb it down.
