Bracket Talk

Sounds like no one thinks Princeton is going to be a challenge. Beware...they are really good. ND better not look ahead to Saturday. It's called Madness for a reason and a #5 has been beaten by a #12 every year since the tournament expanded....since the Ivies started giving $$$$ the league has gotten some really good players....
If Brey loses to Princeton do you think he'll be on the Hot Seat?

I would say no way. After 2 Elite 8's an an ACC title plus getting to the final this year he is at ND for as long as he wants. It is my opinion that this was a terrific job done by Brey and his asst's. I really think they are a just an above average team. Let's face it, they start 4 gds and Colson is only 6-5. The fact that they are so small means they won't kill anyone on the glass, which means they can't truly overpower anyone. Which, having seen Princeton play a few times on TV, tells me they can hang with ND. They will be playing with nothing to lose and they have some athletes. ND is better but it's rd 1 and anything is possible. If ND comes out focused mentally and into playing they will win. But it won't be a cakewalk. JMO....

I think ND has the mind-set (finally) of not looking past anyone -- too many times, against the likes of Winthrop, Wisconsin-Green Bay....it was "a given" that ND would advance, only to be stung. Over the last few years, Brey's teams seem to play with a focus.

Hope it continues.

We actually outrebounded Duke, and had fewer turnovers, too. We lost that game because we shot lousy. I think we're good enough to make the Final Four, although we could also get bounced early. That's what makes the NCAA tournament so great.

I have ND losing to Arizona in Elite 8. I dont' see ND's bracket as too complicated. Strangely, ND/WV were to meet in round 2 last year as well, before WV got bounced in Rd 1

I have ND making the Final 4. It's Final 4 or Bust.

is anybody on this board going to the irish vs Princeton game that lives close by

one of my managers at work was saying that he wants to see his wolverines play in indy since indy is only an hour away but that he was going to have to pay 300 for a ticket or tickets. another coworker also was wanting to see the wolverines also but the cheapest tickets he saw online for rd 1 in indy were 65 and they were near the top he said

Buffalo is within driving distance of me, but it's farther than I want to drive. Too much time and effort when I can just watch it at home in HD along with all the other games.
