Not a bad hire by Baylor especially this late in the season. LSU coaching staff and roster will look a lot different in August. Man was that team impressive

Lost OC, QB, and DC is one week, among others. The sweet smell of success. It was fun to watch such great athletes on the field in the title game. Joe has set an unrealistic standard that all fans will place upon their QB.

Still nice to have won it all. LSU was quite a team this year. Beat 6 top 10 teams and the top 4 teams in the preseason AP poll (for what that might be worth). Nobody can ever say they sneaked in the back door. On top of that, they were fun to watch. I guess when that happens, other teams are going to be poaching your assistant coaches and coordinators. We'll see if Orgeron can find lightning in a bottle again.

CEO has pretty good connections. He will land good coaches. He has gained respect by earning it.

and the downward spiral is gaining speed by the day! almost too hard to believe the stupidity with with the university operates! Unless something miraculous happens USC will not again be a major factor in college football.

Art Briles did an incredible job to take a laughingstock, everyone’s homecoming type program to success. Before he got there, Baylor had something like 15 straight losing seasons with quite a few 1 win, 2 win type seasons, multiple double digit negative SRS seasons (i.e., getting blowout by just about everybody).

But money has been there and they have the facilities

LSU’s defense for most of the season was underwhelming given how much NFL/prospective NFL talent it has, but then turned everything around in the last four games (A&M and Gerogia before the CFP) including the CFP, playing excellently against two very good offenses.
