ND players are not perfect -- BUT -- there is a difference. No doubt the difference is one of the things that piss off other fans about ND.
ND players are a special bunch. those who don't fit in eventually get weeded out but I appreciate Ronnie Stanley coming back. Valuiing the college experience. There is a rising tide of opinion that the college experience is special and you cant get it back if you go pro early.
There are many reasons why ND players are special and staying for a senior season is just one of them. Sorry are the many fools - sports announcers, coaches (Myer), and countless others who used our poor down years due to crap coaches as a pulpit to bash ND as having a fork in it, that we could not win with the high academics and ridged standards and bad climate and blah blah Well ND and Stanford showed em.
Proud of our guys in many ways. Who the heck taught Kizer to speak publically? He is brilliant. Same can be said for any guy on the team. I would send them in to negotiate with Putin.
