College football does not belong on a Monday night anymore than a team that lost its conference and rivalry game belongs in the national title.

Um, this would not be an upset along those lines. This tOSU is not anywhere near that good. It's a very even matchup, if it weren't for ND's injury situation being like it is, I'd consider this game a toss-up, with ND very arguably being the favorite. Outside of the injuries, principally on the DL for ND, which is tough, I strain to see why or how it is that tOSU is even better than us. As has been mentioned, we practically had them beat just one year ago. And I consider ND the team that has improved more so since that time rather than tOSU.

So there you go. With kick off an hour away....

OSU = much better team (much more productive team, much higher rated team in terms of raw talent) if ND wins it would be a pretty big miracle.

Yeah, I definitely agree that CFB should not be on a Monday night, it should be on Saturday! Obviously. Maybe they'll 'tweak' that in the future.

It would be the biggest win in my lifetime, and I'm 67 (and was born a couple of months after we snapped Oklahoma's 47-game winning streak).

Sounds simple but its the only path to a potential competitive game/win.

Offense needs to move the ball and finish drives.

I try to be objective .. this board can't see beyond their own bias.

I am 61. I was at the BC game in 93. I was at Bama in 12. I was at Clemson in the semi-finals in Texas. All blowout losses. The 3 biggest losses since 93. I am not in Atlanta. I believe this team has a better chance than any of the other 3 teams did. Freeman is a better coach and this team battles. No one who has watched this team this year should be surprised when we win a close game. GO IRISH!!
