In a word?

Consistent

they are 4 - 0 beating East Carolina. VT,SMU, Air Force putting up points spread offenses do.

ND will be a big step up for them

That's not who they played. They played UConn Colgate Air Force east Carolina

Of those teams, E. Carolina is decent. They beat V Tech. But Navy is no Ga. Tech. The Irish should win this game going away.

Navy has won 8 in a row. They are ranked 3rd in rushing offense, and 22nd in Scoring. Their Red Zone isn't too shabby either. Ranked in Top Ten. Ken Niumatalolo has seen the GT film and probably is making adjustments to his option offense as we speak. And, just to make things interesting, Keenan Reynolds is much more accomplished at running the offense than anybody the Irish have faced in a long long time. This game is serious. This is not the Navy that Ara coached against. I watched some of the game this past Saturday against AF. I mean, to an untrained eye like me it's hard to tell what the Middies will or won't do this coming Saturday. But, expect the unexpected.

I know they have heart and don't give up. ND should win easily if you go by the amount 4 stars and 5 stars that ND has. But Notre Dame finds a way to make these type of games unnecessarily difficult.

Well, weather permitting, we should have a pretty cool flyover for the game. So, we got that going for us. I don't think the Middies want to be pampered by any opponent. I believe they want the very best thrown at them and they will do the same. They're good like that.

Haven't watched them, but by their results, they must be pretty decent this year. All 4 of their wins were by comfortable margins; the closest was a 10-point win on the road at UConn, a team that almost beat Missouri.

The Irish will need to be ready for a tough game Saturday.

If any ND player does NOT respect Navy's TALENT they are an idiot. Navy is a very very good TEAM. We had better RESPECT them. And Win.

BEAT NAVY!!!

coach Kelly just had his presser and one of the things he said was that his team can't let Clemson beat them twice which means if his team think all week about what could've and should've been Saturday instead of focusing on navy then navy will walk out of south bend 5-0. Kelly also said in his presser today that he voted for navy to be in the top 25

I love that quote from BK. Clemson can't beat the Irish twice. Now, if his lads can put that into practice this Saturday. It's going to be a terrific day for football. Home game. Second chances. Naval Academy. Great football weather from what I understand. Don Criqui up the radio booth doing the play by play for the annual Notre Dame Princeton game. Let's do this.
