Dante Moore could have been ND's version of Caleb Williams. I think that's a good way to characterize him. So obviously pretty disappointing to miss on him. Because he could be that good.....

Having said that I still would take Kenny Minchey. So I for one couldn't be any happier, and am glad things transpired the way they did. But that's what Dante Moore is, another Caleb Williams, just in a general way. Talent, moxie, ability, the overall package. And he's going to play for UCLA, which is not what anyone was predicting a year ago at this time.....

Raiola is also out of his mind to leave Ohio State. These QBs blazing their own trails or whatever the hell they’re doing seems a rather bold move.

No, but he might end up even better. He reminds me of a shorter Trevor Lawrence. His arm is outrageous and he didn't even bother using his legs today. He stood out amongst the best players in the country in the AA game like no player I ever remember watching.

We have no idea how Minchey compares other than what we can go off from tape and the Elite 11. He seems comparable in some ways and not in others. It would have been nice to see him today, but he will be worth the wait. Dante was rifling balls with crazy accuracy and is extremely polished at that age. Minchey might have the same upside, I am going to guess that he's not quite as experienced or game ready as Dante. Chiles looked good too so it certainly would have been nice to see MInchey considering how horrendous the West QB's were. Novosad is not a future Heisman contender.

Dante looks like a future Heisman level QB. Moore is better right now if he was injured than Buchner is now. He would have started as a true freshman.

Also excited to see this guy. By far the most underrated and least appreciated future beast in the class. He could end up the best player in the class and best LB in the country by the time he’s done at ND.

We have 3 out injured …. So far our other 3 aren’t doing great … maybe Bowen is doing ok

Why we need portal because we aren’t landing too many of the absolute studs that are ready to play day 1. Example, we need dl help and I don’t think one of our 5 recruits is ready to help.
