They are world beaters for the crap teams they play for, and then they end up pooping the bed when they come to Notre Dame.
Your first mistake is assuming Riley Leonard is a star QB transfer. He's not. They are world beaters for the crap teams they play for, and then they end up pooping the bed when they come to Notre Dame.
I think you’re overstating it as per the Yankees. They are world beaters for the crap teams they play for, and then they end up pooping the bed when they come to Notre Dame.
Not a star, but he certainly was a + P5 QB, who could win big games.Your first mistake is assuming Riley Leonard is a star QB transfer. He's not.
I read a quote from MF's most recent presser, where he stated they want the QB or any player to be comfortable and confident with the plays being called. He seemed to be alluding to possibly Leonard not having a grasp of the full playbook, so they'll adjust it to the plays he's confident with. Not a star, but he certainly was a + P5 QB, who could win big games.
He was certainly more highly touted than Coan.
He came in "different" than Hartman. Hartman was a system thrower who put up big numbers, but I think we all thought that RL was/is the more talented QB.
I'm not sure what happened. He can't throw. Maybe he's hurt? Maybe it's the WR? Maybe it's because he had no spring. Maybe the OL is shit. Maybe it's scheme. It's likely an ugly combination of all those things.
I'm still optimistic. There is a clear pathway to 11-1. It starts Saturday.

NOT A BAD HAUL. ANY QUESTION, CHECK OUT THEIR STATS IN PINSTRIPES.
And though he wasn’t a SUPERSTAR per se, let’s also thrown in Johnny Damon, whose 4 year Yankees stats were impressive as a SUPPORTING CAST MEMBER on some super Yankee teams.
An * indicates a member of a WS winner. A # indicates a member of a pennant winner.
As an Oriole fan I always rooted for Mussina. I wish he could've got a WS title in NY, one achievement lacking on his resume. I believe their "drought" has still continued since his retirement.Chuck Knoblauk & Scott Brosius instrumental in WS title
