Football Why freshman CJ Carr's future as Notre Dame quarterback feels certain

The way folks talk about CJ Carr makes it seem only a matter of when, not if, he becomes a successful starting quarterback at Notre Dame. The good news for the Irish is that doesn't need to be this season.

"CJ is going to be a really good player,” said Notre Dame quarterbacks coach Gino Guidugli. “At the end of the day, that’s what it is. He’s got some growth to still do to understand our offense, understanding defenses. But to be a freshman and be where he’s at in August of his freshman year, he has a chance to be really good.”

Football I'll be joining Pat Scanlon and Mike Golic tonight on the ND Senior Alumni Kickoff Show

We'll preview the 2024 Notre Dame football season, and Jamie Uyeyama of Irish Sports Daily will be part of the panel as well. The show starts at 7 p.m. ET and can be viewed live on the Notre Dame Senior Alumni's Facebook page. My experience from past years is that you have to jump through a lot of hoops for that to work. SO MY SUGGESTION, if you're interested in watching, is to wait until they post it on YouTube, and I'll share the link here. Thanks.
