Disclosure- I’m not film breakdown guy or guy who pretends he could be a coach. Just an arm chair QB with some observations from last nights game

The Punter - it never really looked like he put his leg into any punts. He was pretty effective but after that first punt I was like WTF was that

LBackers- I thought they played really well. All of them made plays and it looks like the combined for 30 tackles. Both Sneed and Ausberry looked fast

Downfield passing - what is that?

Botehlo - most complete game in Irish uniform

Oben - didn’t even notice him last night

Shuler - was a bit concerned about this position but he played well and confident

This shouldn't be too surprising given that ESPN's College GameDay will be in College Station for the Texas A&M season opener against Notre Dame. But ABC/ESPN released its broadcasting assignments for Weeks 0-1, so now it's official.

In Years past, it has felt like we “ hold on” and hope for a bad throw/ drop in those situations… Gray is s star. The way he broke on that ball was beautiful. Reminded me of Love at MSU years back. Gray went out and Made the play to seal the game. Just great to see.

Texas A&M took over on its own 15-yard line in the middle of the fourth quarter and went three-and-out. Then Notre Dame took over on its own 15-yard line and put together a game-winning drive.
